I am Catherine Morris, a specialist Occupational Therapist, who is enthusiastic and committed to seeing children and young people become more independent in their daily lives. I enjoy meeting each one and watching them develop, gain skills and grow in confidence. I also work with adults.

I am a qualified Ayres Sensory Integration Practitioner. I am fascinated by how our sensory systems work and integrate to produce the actions and reactions that we use to carry out our daily activities.

Families need support too!  I enjoy helping families  and equipping them with the information, tools and strategies they need to best support their child. I have personal experience of raising a child with additional support needs and understand the daily pressures that come with this.

​

I have worked with children and young people and their families for over 25 years. Over those years I gained experience working in NHS departments, a Child Development Centre, a Special School and mainstream schools. I currently work part-time in the NHS as a Highly Specialist Therapist and part-time in private practice.

 

I love travel (have lived in a few different countries), music, gardening, reading, films, good food, the great outdoors.....
